Crone/Poirier have been skating together since 2001. Poirier is also competing in single skating. He is the 2008 National Junior silver medallist and competed in the 2008/2009 Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating series, finishing 10th in Courchevel. He was ranked 11th at 2009 Nationals (senior level). Crone competed in singles as well and finished 13th at the 2008 Junior Nationals.
