White competed at the international junior level in single skating and placed 7th at the 2004 JGP in Long Beach, USA and 9th at the 2006 US Junior Nationals. He played travel hockey for 11 years on a team that won the States Championship. White broke his ankle playing hockey and the couple missed most of the 2004/2005 season because of this injury. He began playing violin when he was four and played in a string quartet through high school. He started learning piano in 2007.
