(1): Natalia LEPETIUKHA / Sergei NOVITSKI (RUS)
Khokhlova/Novitksi teamed up in October 2001. Novitski switched to ice dancing at age 13 because he only landed double jumps. Khokhlova skated in a Moscow childrens' ice ballet until she was 13 years old. She then wanted to go into pair skating and started practicing jumps. However, a coach suggested she should try ice dancing instead.
