Andreev is the son of renowed Russian choreographer and coach Marina Zoueva. Andreev was coached by his step father Alexei Tchetverukhin for many years. He was born in Russia, but moved to Canada with his mother as a young boy and grew up there. He speaks fluent Russian and English. Andreev has played the violin for 8 years. His favorite skater is four-time World Champion Kurt Browning of Canada. In his spare time, Andreev is modelling to earn some money.
